As yet another school week comes to an end I am thinking about how excited I am to have had the chance to administer an experiment this week for the first time! This semester I am taking a psychophysiology lab and this week we administered our first experiment to our freshmen participants. I was nervous at first but once we got started it turned out to be fun. I can’t wait until we analyze the data and figure out if our hypothesis was supported by our results or not!
Yesterday was finally the day! Time to show off our red and white stripes to show our support for the Ronald McDonald House. This was a nationwide event and at our local Rochester site we held a celebration. We had family members speak that have stayed in the house while their child was receiving care and their stories were so heartwarming. We also celebrated with red and white themed snacks and the house was decorated with stripes. I love being a volunteer at this wonderful place!
